Welcome
to the website of the original Ancestral Locations, founded
in 1984.

website is essentially a showcase of my personal interest in
local and family history, featuring Warwickshire, Leicestershire
and the wider Midlands, together with some of the heritage of
Ireland. Some prominence is given to Leamington Spa with old
photographs of the town and more modern scenes concentrating
on some of the local pubs and churches. |

Preserved
railways also have a well-deserved place here, in recognition
of the valuable work of railway preservation societies and their
volunteers in maintaining this important part of our transport
heritage. |
